This Privacy Policy applies to Distribuidora Industrial El Águila S. de R.L. ("DIELA", "we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Honduras, operating the website dielahn.com and its associated digital services.
Our sister company, SAR Infinity LLC, operates from California, United States, as part of the same corporate group. Data shared with DIELA may be accessible to SAR Infinity for the purposes described in this Policy.

- Technical files: CAD drawings, STEP, IGES, DXF, PDF, SolidWorks files and similar engineering documents submitted via our RFQ form
- Project details: Material requirements, quantities, delivery dates, shipping location, and technical specifications
- Account credentials: Username and password if you create a user account on our internal platform (workspace.dielahn.com)
- Communications: Messages, emails, or inquiries you send us directly
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device and browser data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL
- Usage data: Pages visited, time spent, navigation patterns, clicks
- Cookies and similar technologies: As described in our Cookie Policy
2.3 Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect payment card data, government ID numbers, biometric data, or any data from individuals under 16 years of age. Our services are intended exclusively for business-to-business (B2B) commercial use.

- Business communications: To send order updates, production status, shipping notifications and related business correspondence
- Service improvement: To analyze website usage patterns and improve our digital tools and services
- Legal compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders or governmental authority requests in Honduras, the United States or other applicable jurisdictions
- Security: To detect, prevent and address fraud, unauthorized access or other harmful activities
4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
For individuals located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions subject to GDPR-equivalent laws, our legal bases for processing personal data are:

- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR): Compliance with applicable law, tax obligations, and regulatory requirements
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): For non-essential cookies and marketing communications where we have obtained your explicit consent
5. Technical Files and Intellectual Property
We understand the commercially sensitive nature of engineering drawings and CAD files. When you submit technical files to us:
- Files are used exclusively to prepare your quotation and, if an order is placed, to manufacture your parts
- Technical files are never shared with third parties outside the DIELA/SAR Infinity group without your explicit written authorization
- You retain full intellectual property rights over all submitted technical documents
- We may request that you sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before submitting highly sensitive designs — contact us to arrange this
- Files submitted via the RFQ form are stored on secured servers and deleted upon your request or when no longer needed for business purposes
6. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We may share data in the following limited circumstances:
- SAR Infinity LLC (California, USA): Our sister company in the same corporate group, for the purposes of sales support, logistics coordination and North American market access
- Service providers: Trusted third-party vendors who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality obligations (e.g., email services, web hosting)
- Legal authorities: When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of DIELA, its employees or others
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with appropriate confidentiality protections
All third-party processors are contractually bound to process data only for specified purposes and in compliance with applicable law.
7. International Data Transfers
DIELA operates from Honduras and works with SAR Infinity in the United States. Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. When transferring data internationally, we implement appropriate safeguards including:
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission for transfers to/from EEA
- Adequacy decisions where applicable
- Binding corporate arrangements within the DIELA/SAR Infinity group
By submitting an RFQ or using our services, you acknowledge that your data may be processed in Honduras and the United States.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer period is required by law:
- RFQ inquiries (no order placed): 2 years from the date of submission
- Customer records (order placed): 7 years from the last transaction, for tax and commercial law compliance under Honduran law
- Technical files: Duration of the business relationship plus 3 years, or upon written request for deletion
- Account data: Until account deletion, plus 30 days
- Website analytics: 14 months
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Access
Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Rectification
Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Erasure
Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal retention requirements.
